GREEK POTTERY

In Ancient Greece, amphoras were used to transport liquids or cereals. They had two handles, and they were made of clay.

Amphoras were beautifully decorated with black paint.

PATTERNS

You can make your Greek Amphora!

First, use orange and black crayons to colour it in.

Then, use a thin stick to scratch the black surface and make beautiful patterns.

The ancient Greek had a different alphabet.

Can you write your name using Greek letters?

África = Aφρικα
